Automatic Backwash Active Carbon Filter

It cleans the water by absorbing the organic substances and residual chlorine in the water by means of granular active carbon, thus removing bad odor, taste and color.

It removes organic compounds such as gasoline and kerosene that give odor to water.

They are systems that perform physical-chemical purification and the adsorption process takes place during the purification of water. Activated carbon is a material with a very large surface area (1000-1500 m²/gr).

-Since it can create a suitable environment for bacterial growth, it needs to be replaced when it reaches saturation.

- Organic matter accumulated on the filter is removed from the system by drainage through a backwash process that occurs automatically without the need for human intervention.

- In domestic systems, the backwash process is carried out with hydropneumatic valves via the control panel, while in surface piping systems, this process is carried out using actuated valves with a PLC system.

-The washing time is programmed according to the dirtiness of the water.
